WHERE: Fernridge Campgrounds located on Route 115 in the Pocono Mountains just off of Exit 43 on Route I-80.

COST PER PERSON:   $35.00

PACKAGE INCLUDES:  Camping site fee, dinners for Friday, Saturday and Sunday and breakfasts for Saturday and Sunday morning.

FISHING LICENSES: You must have a valid Pennsylvania fishing license, which can be obtained at the Evening Hatch Fly Shop on Route 940 in nearby White Haven.

NEARBY FISHING LOCATIONS: Lehigh River, the Tobyhanna, Mud Run, Hickory Run, Fourth Run ans Sand Spring Run located in Hickory Run State Park. These waters are stocked with brown and brook trout.

SUGGESTED RODS AND FLIES:  8' to 9' 4-5 weight rods suitable for dry fly and nymphing. Ants, beetles and terrestrials will work well off the banks. Elk Hair Caddis, Sulphurs and Parachute Adams in sizes #16 thru #20 are effective dries.

OTHER ESSENTIALS: Besides your normal camping gear (tent, sleeping bag, pillow, sleeping mat, etc), you should bring:

Wood for the campfire
Folding chair, coffee cup
Towel, washcloth, soap and other sundries
Bug Repellent and itch lotion
Aspirin and any medication you may need
Wading staff, belt and rain gear.

NEAREST HOSPITAL: Penn State Geisinger, located in Wilkes-Barre on Route 115, thirty minutes north of campgrounds. Dial 911 in case of emergency for State Police.
