Hook: Nymph, size #14 to #16 Thread: Tan Head: Gold Bead Body: Tan Micro Ice Chenille Hackle: Tan Saddle Hackle |
Tying Instructions:
Slip bead into hook and secure thread base.
Tie in chenille at hook bend, wrap forward and tie in at bead.
Tie in hackle behind bead head and wrap 3 or 4 turns; tie back collar style
Whip finish behind bead head.
Member's Comments:
I first used this fly on a club camping trip to PA (hence the name) and it worked when the fishing was slow. Also at Saratoga and at Connetquot and the fish like it.
